CATS believe that all young people should be aware of the signs and symptoms of cancer, and how to check themselves, so that’s what they’re here for. CATS aim to empower these young people to be comfortable enough with themselves and their bodies to know when something is up, and when to go and see a doctor.
Overview of the role
You’ll be joining a small team to provide vital support to help us maintain our current income streams and grow them for the future. The university teams are a huge part of CATS history, and as a key aspect of their community fundraising, help CATS deliver their main goals as a charity in a variety of ways. You’ll support the running of these teams on a day-to-day basis, the successful delivery of their events and any relevant campaigns. You’ll also ensure CATS are engaging with the community to create fundraising opportunities and supporting these individuals accordingly. As an Income Coordinator, you’ll also be supporting the creation of new income streams, and monitor those that are existing, against relevant targets.
Things to know before you apply:
The team is only two strong at the moment, meaning the successful applicant will be the third/fourth person employed by CATS (CATS are currently recruiting 2 roles).
CATS are a youth led organisation, so expect fresh and new ideas in all areas of their work.
You’ll be the sole fundraiser (officially) however you will have the support of both the Head of Development and Head of Engagement if deadlines need to be met.
This opportunity is office based (Manchester city centre) and CATS will not consider remote working.
This position is contracted until November 2021.
