In February 2011, Manchester Children's Board held a special meeting to discuss the impact of public sector cuts and changes to services on children and families in Manchester. All the partner organisations contributed a report from their perspective. MACC prepared a report on the risks to the services and support provided by voluntary and community sector organisations.

2010 Business Improvement Support for Carers Organisations (PDF File)

During 2009 & 2010 MACC provided Business Improvement Support to a number of voluntary and community sector groups working with carers in Manchester. These groups were facing changes with the process through which they are commissioned. This report evaluates the work of MACC, the outcomes achieved by the groups and the lessons for commisisoners.

2008 Including Men Father in Service Delivery and Design (PDF File)

Sowing Seeds have produced a good practice guide to involving men and fathers in the development of services. There is an increasing need for agencies to recognise the role of men and fathers as Government sets new standards for engagement.

2008 Building the Capacity of Third Sector Organisations in Greater Manchester (PDF File)

In 2007 the Care Services Improvement Partnership (CSIP) commissioned MACC to carry out an enquiry into ways of maximising the contribution of black and minority ethnic community initiatives to the Delivering Race Equality Action Plan.
