2010 Business Improvement Support for Carers Organisations (PDF File)
During 2009 & 2010 MACC provided Business Improvement Support to a number of voluntary and community sector groups working with carers in Manchester. These groups were facing changes with the process through which they are commissioned. This report evaluates the work of MACC, the outcomes achieved by the groups and the lessons for commisisoners.

2009 Adults Health and Wellbeing Partnership Delivery Plan (PDF File)
This is the final version of the Adults Health and Wellbeing Partnership's Partnership Delivery Plan: Increasing life expectancy and reducing health inequalities, following the consultation period in August 2009. This document has been produced in response to recommendations from the Health Inequalities National Support Team. It sets out the thematic action plan for the Partnership and details each programme of work that the Partnership will deliver over the next two years, in order to improve health and wellbeing in Manchester. It has been approved by the Adults Health and Wellbeing Partnership Board and the NHS Manchester Board.

During Autumn 2008, the Department of Health published a proposed constitution for the National Health Service. It is intended as a statement of the values of the NHS and people's rights to services, free at the point of need. This is MACC's response to the draft constitution.

2008 Manchester People First Health and Wellbeing Event (PDF File)
MACC's Health and Wellbeing Network asked People First to undertake a small piece of work to gather the views of people with learning disabilities on what contributes to their health and wellbeing. They staged an event in April 2008 which was a fantastic, lively day full of great ideas and people getting to say how they felt. This is the report which arose from the event.

2008 Self Directed Support (PDF File)
This briefing paper is an introduction to the issues around the Personalisation of social care. It outlines the main aspects of the policy and looks at the challenges and opportunities for service users and voluntary sector organisations - and the potential for conflicting interests between the two. MACC will be producing further papers on this subject during 2008.
