MACC--manchester alliance for community care

1. Introduction

On behalf of the Workforce Partners I would like to welcome you to the voluntary, community and faith sectors (VCFS) managers’ toolkit. We hope that you will find this to be a worthwhile and useful tool that will support you as a leader and manager within the VCFS.

This tool-kit has been designed with the help of voluntary sector managers and leaders like yourself, and is here to help you develop as a manager as well as to support you to lead your organisations forward.

We invite you to take some time to navigate your way through the toolkit and familiarise yourself with the system. If you have any comments, ideas, criticism or praise we would really love to hear from you. We have designed this to be an ever-changing, current, user friendly and most of all useful resource. Only with your feedback will this be possible.

To get in touch with the Workforce Partners please email:
Ross Grant at voluntaryyouthmanchester@gmail.com
Or Nicola Shanahan at nicola@macc.org.uk

We have tried to incorporate as much as we can for the initial launch of the toolkit but please note that what is currently on here will grow with time.

Thank you

The Workforce Partners

(The 'Workforce Partners' brings together Voluntary Youth Manchester, MACC and Manchester City Council.)
