Governance

MACC is a membership organisation. Membership is open to:

• Voluntary and community sector groups providing services or activities which promote and support health and wellbeing.
• Groups which support the voices of people in the city – be they area-based or issue-based groups. These will mainly engage users of services and carers.
• Groups which provide support to individuals within the health and social care system by providing services such as advocacy, information, advice, counselling, etc.
• Other local voluntary and community sector groups interested in these issues.

Organisations which support the aims and values in this Manifesto are entitled to become full members of the Alliance with voting rights.

Individuals and other organisations may join as associate members.

Members may stand for election to the Executive Committee which oversees the work of the staff team and, on behalf of the wider membership, ensures the approach remains consistent with the Manifesto and the Rules of the Alliance.
