Mental Health and Wellbeing of People with Mental Health Problems 2017-2018

This programme is funded by Manchester Health & Care Commissioning and was designed to improve the mental health and wellbeing of people with mental health problems living in Manchester. Specifically it sought to:

  1. increase the social inclusion within their neighbourhoods of people with serious and enduring mental health problems
  2. increase the take-up of Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) programme services among communities that finds them difficult to access
  3. increase the level of support offered to people with mental health problems who find it difficult to access existing services in their neighbourhoods

In all 35 grants of up to £10,000 have been awarded with a total amount distributed of £328,044.14. The programme’s funded projects are due to be completed by autumn 2018.
