Atlas:mcr was organised by a cross-faculty group at The University of Manchester in partnership with Macc. The programme was monitored by UoM Social Responsibility and judged by a panel including The Wellcome Trust.
The programme was an art-science-social responsibility initiative to pilot new collaborations that addressed societal challenges in creative and unexpected ways. This involved the development of new, re-imagined or combined approaches to creatively shed new light and perspectives on the challenges. All organisations involved were based in Greater Manchester.
Six pilot projects received awards with a total of £9,835 distributed.
